PRIVACY POLICY
This document describes how the Vaide Building Android application ("the App") handles information on your device.
Who we are
Vaide Building is a single-purpose mobile companion: a collection of on-device construction calculators, a focus timer, a jobsite journal and a motivational quote generator. The App runs locally on your Android device. The publisher may change without prior notice; the current publisher is visible on the Google Play listing page.
What the app does on your device
All notes, focus blocks, shift tallies, preferences and quote history are saved in the App's private sandboxed storage on your device. Clearing the App storage from Android Settings removes everything.
Third-party services and SDKs
Google Play Services
Provided by Google on every Play Store Android device. It handles secure app delivery, updates, crash-free startup and compatibility with the operating system. Google Play Services operates at the Android platform level and is required for the App to run on Google-certified devices.
Google Fonts
The App renders text using open-source fonts delivered by the Google Fonts service so headings and body text look consistent across devices.
Unity Ads SDK
Unity Ads may display rewarded video and interstitial advertisements inside the App. Unity Ads may process device identifiers, the advertising ID, IP address, and ad-interaction signals to deliver relevant advertising and measure ad performance.
Firebase Analytics
Firebase Analytics records anonymous app-usage events such as screen opens and user interactions so we can understand how the App is used in aggregate and improve reliability. No contact details or account credentials are collected.
Firebase Cloud Messaging
Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) delivers push notifications. FCM uses an anonymous device-scoped token to route notifications; the token carries no personal identifiers.
Firebase Remote Config
Firebase Remote Config lets the App read small configuration values (content defaults, feature switches) without shipping an update. Remote Config exchanges a device-scoped instance identifier and basic device information with Firebase to serve the correct configuration.
What information is involved
- Platform-level Anonymous device and app diagnostics routed through Google Play Services at the Android platform level.
- Platform-level Font resource requests made by Google Fonts to render typography inside the App.
- Advertising Advertising ID, IP address and ad-interaction signals handled by Unity Ads for rewarded and interstitial ad delivery.
- Analytics Anonymous app-interaction events (screen opens, button taps, crash context) handled by Firebase Analytics.
- Notifications A device-scoped push token maintained by Firebase Cloud Messaging.
- Configuration A device-scoped instance identifier plus basic device info used by Firebase Remote Config.
- On device only Every note, quote, focus block, shift tally and setting you create inside Vaide Building.
Audience
Vaide Building is intended for working-age adults and follows a device-local design that is suitable for teenagers as well.
Your choices
- Clear App data: Android Settings › Apps › Vaide Building › Storage › Clear data.
- Platform privacy controls: You can manage the platform-level advertising identifier and Google Play Services behaviour from your device Settings.
- Uninstall: Removing the App from your device removes its on-device storage as well.
Security
Communication with third-party services listed above takes place over HTTPS. On-device content never leaves your device except through the services listed above in their standard operation.
